Rocklands is a family-owned winery and working farm, owned by Greg Sr. and Janis Glenn. They opened in 2010 and take their responsibility as stewards of the land and caretakers of their historic buildings seriously. The mission at Rocklands Farm Winery, which you’ll notice repeated throughout their website, is to feed, nourish, and engage the community. They have found success using a holistic management approach to balance social, economic, and environmental factors that not only benefits the business, but the greater community and ecosystem as well.
This winery is located on 34 breathtaking acres bordering Seneca Creek State Park, just 45 minutes northwest of Washington, DC. The peaceful setting allows you to relax and unwind while enjoying a glass of wine with the company of family and friends. They serve various red, white, rose, and sparkling wines and ciders, in addition to food made from 100% grass-fed and pasture-raised meats. Furthermore, this winery hosts many events from live music and tours to wine camps. So if you aren’t able to hang out on Small Business Saturday, there are sure to be plenty of opportunities to enjoy Rocklands Farm Winery in the future.
